New Photographers

We are constantly looking for new photographers to represent on our website. We are broadening our stock to include all countries and subjects of interest. Contact us if you feel your work is suitable!

African wildlife and nature will only be considered if of outstanding quality and interesting or exciting images - no identification shots please!

Digital image submissions:
Your camera should be no less than 8 megapixels.

The images must be taken in RGB colour mode with the colour setting on Adobe RGB or Adobe RGB (1998), not sRGB IEC61966. The reason for this is that the Adobe RGB has a much broader colour space.

Image resolution must be set to 300DPI.

Images should also be taken as RAW or TIFF files not JPEGS. JPEG file formats compress images so that they loose colour and quality. The file sizes of RAW and TIFF images will be much larger than JPEGS, but will ensure no loss of colour or quaity. Do not shoot in JPEG and then convert to TIFF.

When working in Photoshop or other image editing software make sure that the colour settings are on Adobe RGB (the same as your camera). When converting to CMYK ensure that your CMYK colour setting is set to Euroscale coated v2 not US Web coated (SWOP) v2 which is the Photoshop default.

Please use a colour corrected monitor if any colour correction needs to be done.

Criteria for supplying digital images to us:

Images must be supplied as per above and also as JPEG thumbnails: 500 pixels on the longest side - not larger than 100KB and at 72DPI.

The filenames must not include spaces, underscoring etc. Each filename should be no longer than 15 digits/letters, be in capital letters and preferably run sequentially. Please do not duplicate image numbers and names.

Please supply spreadsheet with captions in Word or Excel document.
